Week 1 - Sugar Detox Journal (1/18/16)
I completed my 1st week on the Sugar Detox program and feeling good! My blood sugar has improved and I'm not craving sugar or carbs. What a relief!
There are 3-program levels on the sugar detox program. I began with the least restrictive level - level 1. The program offers many delicious recipes to try. Below is a sampling of foods and recipes I tried for the week.
Foods:
- Grapefruit
- Semi-ripe Bananas
- Granny Smith Apples
- Nuts - Walnuts, Pecans, & Almonds.
- Grass-fed Meats
- Vegetables (non-starchy)
Recipes:
- Buffalo Chicken Egg Muffins
- Mini Mexi-Meatloaves
- Cinnilla Nut Mix
